Typhoon WX-1200 Wet Dust Collector

Overview

Prevent workplace fire and explosion due to combustible dust with Diversitech’s Typhoon WX-1200 Wet Dust Collector. The Typhoon WX-1200 uses a 3HP blower to draw in airborne contaminants and filter them through Diversitech’s proprietary “water-tree” baffle design. Once inside the collector, the particles bond with suspended water droplets where they then drain down to the bottom of the collector for safe removal.

To reduce excess humidity, the Typhoon WX-1200 comes included with a mist eliminator after-filter to prevent water vapor from leaving the exhaust. Its integrated hydrogen vent fan exhausts hydrogen gas as metals oxidize in the water tank.

The Typhoon WX-1200 is available with an auto-water level control system to maintain correct levels as water evaporates with normal use. Fully compliant with NFPA and OSHA safety regulations, the wet collector shuts down when water levels become too high or low.

Ideal applications include: grinding & deburring, sanding & finishing, widebelt sanding, food processing, aluminum, titanium and magnesium.
